Back in timeBack in time is a documentary directed by Jason Aron about the cultural significance of the Back to the Future series on America. In addition to the production history of the series, the film also features interviews with the cast, crew, producers, and the big names in the BTTF fandom.
Trekkies and Trekkies 2 Denise Crosby's Trekkies and
Trekkies 2 takes on a tour of the wild and fascinating world of Star Trek fandom. The documentaries include interviews from many of the cast and crew that are placed along side extended interviews of fans who have been profoundly effect by the show.
Done the Impossibel: The Fans' Tale of 'Firefly' and 'Serenity'
Done the Impossibel 'is a documentary about the fan moment that help take the short lived series 'Firefly' from a television to the silver screen. Hosted by Adam Baldwin it features interviews with the cast and crew and important people within the fandom.

Epbot is a great blog about Cos-play, crafting, television, film, and convention going by Jen Yates, who is also the author of the popular blog Cakewrecks. The frequent updates often include step-by-step crafting projects inspired by Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Bioshock. Yates also is a frequent attendee of conventions and has several beautiful costumes that she has created over the years.

Io9 and Kotaku are excellent resources for news related to science fiction and fantasy or video games and technology. Both part of the Gawker suite of culture and society blogs and often their content overlaps. Other Resources
The University of Iowa special collections library has created one of the largest repositories of fandom related materials in the country. The library is currently working to digitize the collection into a massive searchable database that will help preserve the contents, some of which date back to the early 1920s. **Please note: This is a research library and not open to the public except for longer term research purposes.
